Markdown has its advantages and is preferred by some people, but for many of us, it is unreliable and a pain in the ass to use, especially when we need more complex formatting, like a price sheet, YCH information, etc. Having it as an option is great, but forcing it on everyone is bad practice.

Please add either BB Code or filtered HTML formatting as alternatives and make Markdown optional. Let us chose which one we want to use.

Also give us some means of disabling Markdown if we don't want regular characters to get parsed into formatting. This could be achieved many ways, including a global account setting and a "nomarkdown" BB/Custom HTML tag.

In another ticket I made a list of the problems with Markdown to explain why we need other options too, and also made suggestions in how to implement the ability to disable Markdown for certain texts. However, apparently most people don't read past the title and think I want markdown to be replaced - I DO NOT! I suggest it to be optional alongside BB Code or HTML.

I noticed that you cannot delete messages in your inbox! It'd be nice to be able to; I prefer a clean inbox.

Hey, guys. I like the look of the new site. I do, however, think that newer posts should be shown by default and the option for viewing the popular posts should be below it. This gives the newer posts more of a chance to gain attention and still allows for people who are interested to see more popular stuff. Without this feature, you can end up with a system where only the most popular artists gain attention and the newer ones don't get the chance to be noticed.

Currently, a list of stories is linear, a single line of links and descriptions that one scrolls down until he finds what he or she wants. Can this be laid out in a way that's easier to navigate? Perhaps a wider version of the thumbnail to accomodate part of the description? Also, can thumbnails or cover images please be supported for stories?

There's no way to stop an import that's already been started - you have to wait for it to finish (if it ever finishes). This is especially an issue when your import freezes midway through, or you mis-typed your login details.

It would be nifty to have some sort of "read later" feature for stories. I generally don't read a lot of stories for the primary reason that when I come across one I'm interested in, I may not have time to read it right then. It would be nice to flag them so I can come back and read them later when I have downtime.

Some sort of integration with another reading app would also work well.

Can we have a "select all entries" for our galleries ?

I find it quite painful to have to select more than 600 pictures one by one to move them on "public". And i found it even worse when i found out the pictures were moved in the order i clicked them, so in the "opposite" order i uploaded those in FA (from older to newer) making me to go back to reselect all and back to drafts again... Can it be a bit simpler and have a "select all" and "Sort" functions pls ?

Just a thought I wasn't sure or didn't see where anyone had put out a feeler for a 'pinned' or at least 1 permanent journal/post at the top of a character's profile page.

Something really big that the fandom needs is somewhere to post events! Facebook stinks but seems to be the main thing people use other than just FA journals. It'd be quite hte implementation but it would really help people without access to facebook who want a better way of keeping up with events and finding furries around them, Better community features in general would help a lot as well such as actual groups to post events to and such. It's a lot of work but i think in the end it would greatly set this site apart and draw in a lot of people, along with helping furs expand and join their local community and maybe even just find a local community to begin with.

This is more of a "would be kind of neat to have" idea: verified accounts, like what Twitter does for celebrities and other high profile people. People pretending to be popular artists doesn't seem too common in the fandom, but this would help for that. Might also be good for artists coming from other sites that find their usual username is already taken (obviously for unique names and not something like "foxyboi92").
