Completely shut down the site to prevent drama.
Seems pretty reasonable to me, since so many people are whining about cub porn. Eyah, just shut down the entire site and move back to FA, since you all love it so much.
Allow logging in without a password
The latest episode of FA Security Theater showed once again the fundamental flaws with passwords.

tl;dr: send a token embedded in a URL by email, or the token by SMS, instead of requiring passwords. Medium is actually a good proof of concept for this. You can log in just by putting in your email address. They email a link, you click, and you're in. Email remains a weak link, but that was already the case. It'll matter less as more people adopt two-factor authentication for their email accounts.
RolePlay-"Bulletin Board"
What about some place on the website where you can ask for a role play? Or you could "register" yourself on there as a Role Player who can be asked for Role Play.
That would eliminate the strongest argument against the other RolePlay-idea here, since the website won't be immediately associated with a pure-Role-Playing-website. What do you think?
Artist profile section similar to deviant ID on Deviantart.com
Artsits and users would be able to list their interests according to categories, such as favorite movies, T.V. shows, books, music, ect. while keeping the information in easy to read, sectioned, and labeled lists.
Varka gave a helpful image to show how this can be done. This can be customized and will likely fit the need described here.
let the addition of download button be the artist choice
while people come here to post their work not many are interested in letting their content be downloaded - on Devianart, this feature is left to the artitst to add or not as since this it the internet anyone can pick it up and post on another site.
I stumble two of my fan arts (one of Mr. Bug goes to Town, an old Fleischer Studios animated flick) been shown on a Youtube video, and another from Gremlins been spotted on another site I'd never joined a few months.
Greetings, as it has been stated by several users, removing the download button is not going to prevent someone from downloading a piece of art. The Download button is there so that a higher resolution version of the picture can be downloaded if it has been uploaded to the site rather than the downscaled preview. If you do not wish to have this available to users, then upload a lower resolution version of an image.
I Came button
Add an I came button to mature submissions to tell the artist "I came to this!"
I think it's safe to say that this one probably isn't going to make it onto the site. :P Time to put this one out of its misery.
