I just wanted to give an update here and close the ticket. Tags are currently working for searches, so you should be fine using them. However, once you click on an image, the tags are cleared when you go back to the gallery. This is a separate issue that we'll be addressing in the future.

Thanks!

Kevin, I've been reviewing some of the older tickets here, and I just wanted to give a little info. We do plan on implementing groups in the future, meaning that people can create and maintain groups. Currently, staff does not plan on creating things specifically for bronies, but you or others would be able to do so.

The layout has undergone some significant changes over the past year; at this point, we're close to having it finalized. The "What's New" page is going to have all recent submissions from anyone you follow, and you'll be able to use the "Activity History" feed to view posts and promotes. This should be simple enough to quickly see what has been added recently.

We appreciate the suggestion, but in order to keep things simple, we're going to stick with those two methods of viewing posts by people you follow; if there's enough demand in the future, we can always reconsider changing it.

While I think this could be a nice idea, I also don't see it being used too often, especially to begin with. We're going to pass on this for now, but if there's significant demand as the site grows, we can definitely look into it again.

At this point, we're going to pass on this idea. We do appreciate the suggestion, though, and we'd be happy to reconsider if there were more demand in the future.

The site has undergone some significant changes, and navigation should be a little more intuitive at this point. I know there's been discussion about whether or not images should be shrunken, and we lean towards shrinking based on your resolution - this greatly improves load times, allowing for faster navigation and less data usage. This is especially helpful when using keyboard navigation to go quickly through galleries.

For now, we're going to keep the layout this way and allow users to see the uploaded resolution by clicking the download button.

Silent Ravyn, I'm going through all of the older tickets. I know that we've had the "Upload" button added to the top since this was submitted, and we also have "Manage Submissions" in the left menu. Do you know if you or others still trip over navigation? If so, there's probably something we can do to make it more intuitive.

Thanks!

WatermelonBomb, I wanted to check and see if this is still an outstanding issue on your end. If it is, please let us know, and we will have our system administrator look into it.

I'm thinking about this, and it seems like users' profiles are customizable enough to show their characters. I agree this shouldn't be a forced feature - some users definitely want their characters to be separate.

For now, we're going to keep the current customizable fields; if there's enough demand later to add an optional list of various characters, we can look into what that would take.
