The site has undergone significant changes. There's not currently autocomplete for tags; if this does come back, we'll make sure we take a look at the layout to ensure nothing is being hidden that should be shown.

Since we have this feature, I'm going to consider this completed. We're looking to improving ways of searching for commission sellers, as well, so I would expect changes in the future.

We're planning to work on groups in the future, and I'd like to discuss this with the team to see if this is something we'd want to include. If we did, we definitely wouldn't make this mandatory; a lot of members would prefer to have this information stay private.

I do think it's important to be discoverable in the community, and we're actively looking for ways to improve that. However, there hasn't been much demand for this specific feature, and it would be time intensive to include. If we had more demand in the future, we could look into including this.

At this point, there hasn't been much demand for this feature. If we do see a large demand in the future, though, we'll consider adding this feature.

Reviewing this, I think it might be possible, but it could also depend on what's allowed by the payment processor; most NSFW items won't be a problem, but there are some guidelines regarding other items that we'd want to follow. This would also depend on the amount of time to develop this other use - once we have the commission system fully public, we'll be able to see how much demand there is for this extra service.

I'll put it on our possible improvement page for now, and we'll discuss it among staff. I wouldn't expect for us to have a fast answer, but once we have a decision, we'll post it here.

Teamspeak and Mumble could be possible. My initial reaction, though, is that those services are primarily meant for voice communication; they're also a bit clunkier, so I'm not sure how many people would be willing to take the time to set it up. Being more relaxed about content is definitely a plus, though.

As for Telegram, there's not any language against adult content, and there are tons of furry groups already. Pretty much every furry has Telegram, but I'm worried about a few things:

  • There's really no way to organize chats; Discord has channels, but Telegram becomes a firehouse of messages.
  • Some members have expressed concern elsewhere about linking information like phone numbers to group chats. In general, I'm not seeing others' phone numbers in groups unless we already shared info with each other, so I'm not sure that's actually an issue.

I personally have seen some drama happen in Telegram groups that wasn't easily managed, and it's a little less of a formalized setting than I'd usually want. If there were enough support for Telegram, we could go that way, but I'd lean towards a different system.

We've included searching by tags, and we're looking at ways to improve this search function; we'll likely have some tweaks through the upcoming months!

I've worked on writing documentation for Furry Network about etiquette for the site. All of the documentation can be found here: https://about.furrynetwork.com/commissions/

The biggest question remaining is if this will be useful to buyers and sellers. We'll be able to see as commissions progress, and as we run into problems, we'll adjust documentation accordingly. I'm going to move this to complete; I don't believe this will ever be fully complete, but this should be a good start to creating a welcome commission system.

I just wanted to check in on this. We're working on getting the final big changes to the site. We currently have some keyboard shortcuts, and we will plan on adding more if they do seem helpful. The biggest thing that stands out is allowing users to see comments better, and it's possible we'll integrate shortcuts to help that. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis as improvements are made.
