Okay, that work around makes sense. I talked to the devs about this earlier, and they had originally put that character limit there to keep out tag spam - imports from FA especially tended to have short tags like "to" and "at" if users joked around with the tagging system. Just looking at my older submissions on FA, I can see I did that, as well; it was kind of a joke thing to do on the site.

I think the biggest question is this: is it more beneficial to trim down on useless tags or allow people to use shorter tags that fit their characters?

We've looked at making the site efficient for users. A big reason for images being removed when browsing elsewhere is to improve site stability; when too many images are on a page, it lags and sometimes crashes. There are advantages and disadvantages to the way that our development team has worked to create stability, but this has been reliable so far.

We're currently working on consolidating messages in the activity feed.

I think this would be very helpful, especially for people who upload a lot of images with the same characters or themes. It's not an urgent issue for us, but we'll look into what's needed for development.

I think this would be helpful - Tumblr has this, and I find it useful. It's not urgent, but we're going to have our devs look into it.

For now, this can be done by creating a custom field; this is generally the easiest way to customize your profile and show information you'd like. We're also looking into more ways to improve the fields that are currently in the profile. Keeping things customizable is important for users, especially on the profile, so this isn't something we'd want to require for people to have (unless participating in commissions or something where there's a huge benefit to listing roles).

I understand that the site has undergone some significant redesign. Do you know if you are still having issues? If so, please let us know; a screenshot or two could help us, as well.

Thanks!

We're going to look into this and see what would be required for this. We're also wanting to look into being able to upload your own thumbnail.

It looks like this is still an issue. Although it's small, it'd be something we'd want to look at in order to make the site shine. We'll talk to our dev team about this.

Unfortunately, because there is explicit content on the site, the application wouldn't be approved on either iPhone or Android. It's a good idea, but it wouldn't be possible due to the current limitations for content on the platforms.
