At this point, you are able to add a journal to your homepage as a featured submission. This would work as a type of pinned post for you!

We've had some significant redesigns that have included these functions, and we're going to be adding more favorite/promote functionality in the Activity History feed. Hopefully these end up helping out!

While I do think this would be a neat addition to the site, I'm concerned about the amount of resources that would need to go into developing this, especially since the end result would just be a visual element. It's possible we could visit this in the future when we have the majority of the site design and functional features rolled out.

We are going to look into this. It's not high on the priority list, but I think it would be very helpful for users.

We have a few other ways that we're considering this - we're looking into adding follow buttons on users' icons in the community tab as well as a follow back button in notifications. At the moment, while I like the idea of hovering over someone's name for more information, it's also a good amount of development time for something that doesn't have too much demand. If we had more demand in the future, we could look into this again.

Sidian, we're working on getting the commission system refined right now. I know that we're looking at the auction category for that, as well, and we're planning to implement that system. I know that some people do adoptables as a flat price and some as an auction. Others have also suggested a type of store system for characters or art that have already been created (like prints); that might be the best idea.

We're also looking into separating commissions into different categories - artwork, stories, etc. We could possibly do sub-categories, as well, but that might start getting a little convoluted; we'd want people to be able to find what they want while keeping it as simple as possible. What do you think? I'd probably want to throw this around a little bit before checking with the devs on time estimates.

I wanted to check on this issue. We've had some significant redesigns for the site, and this should be fixed. Are either of you still experiencing this? If so, I'd want to take a deeper look.

Thank you!

I think this would both be useful and relatively easy to implement. It's not a huge priority, but we'll look into what it would take to implement.

We've done a little more research into Discord. It looks like they're more open to NSFW content than previously thought. From their guidelines:

The following is not tolerated. We will remove content and issue a warning. Subsequent misconduct and cases of extreme severity will result in account deletion:

  • Not properly labeling NSFW channels. Some content just isn't appropriate for kids under 18, so let's do the right thing in our community. Discord requires that you label any channel containing adult content as NSFW. This will add an age gate to the channel, protecting those who wish not to see.

As long as we stick to these guidelines, we should be able to setup a Discord server that allows NSFW content. Some of this was literally updated less than an hour ago, so I'm wanting to watch this and see where they go; in general, it seems like they're going to loosen the restrictions on NSFW content.

There are a lot of various suggestions that we're looking at right now that should increase interactivity between users, and those will be tracked in the individual threads; we'll consider this specific thread complete, and we'll track changes for individual issues in the individual threads.

As Neotheta showed, we've added journals, and we're looking at group support. We're also looking at the possibility of adding shoutouts to profiles (that can be enabled or disabled by the user). Simply put, networking is critical for a network, and we're hopefully going to start implementing other changes soon.
