Currently, views are only calculated when looking at a full size image, and it only counts unique views. You are correct that viewing an image in the activity history or What's New feed does not count towards that total.
We're currently going to keep the total count of views the same. However, statistics are interesting, and it could be neat to see the total number of impressions (similar to Twitter) that you get on users' feeds rather than how many clicked to view the full image. After having helped with social media, though, it's clear to me that people engaging with the post (clicking, favoriting, promoting, and downloading) have the greatest influence for establishing a strong following. I think seeing how many people clicked "download" could be helpful.
If we have more demand for these types of statistics later, we can discuss these options with our development team.
While I can see something like this being valuable, it would also lead to a large amount of data being transferred, and this would put a significant load on our systems. In addition, mobile apps for websites with mature content are extremely difficult or impossible to get approved. We don't plan to create a tool specifically for this purpose. However, we will likely release an API, and members are welcome to create apps that will be helpful for them.
In general, we recommend that sellers save essential commission information in case there is an issue. There are online and offline organizational tools that can help keep work flows organized.
At this point, the alert has been removed; only promotions appear as a notification. Favorites are treated more as a private collection, so it makes sense not to have that notification.
For now, we don't have plans on implementing this; right now, it would be a neat function, but it wouldn't significantly help people find new artists or make significantly new connections. In addition, I know some users may not wish to advertise that they're following artists.
We'll also need to see how things progress as the site moves forward. If this does move in the direction of a social networking site, we may return to this idea and implement it.
I'm unsure what was causing this issue at the time, but it appears that it has been fixed. I have not seen it on any other profile, and it now appears correctly on your submissions. If there are still issues, though, feel free to commend and let us know.
This is a bit of a touchy subject; while having that could help in terms of moderation, it would also brand accounts as being mature. That might not be a problem - after all, users are choosing to upload mature images for their profile picture.
There are likely reasonable ways that we could cover this through moderation without have an intrusive system; having moderators who primarily look at general art, for example, would likely help us catch those profiles faster.
We do plan on releasing an API as we get closer to the official release of the site. However, we don't currently have plans to develop a bot for this purpose. Other users would be welcome to create tools that they find useful when we have that available for them.
At the moment, this doesn't appear to be a problem. However, there have been issues in the past with indexing items in the gallery, and that could have been the issue. This should be resolved.
The user has logged into Furry Network and uploaded art; it appears that this issue is resolved.

I know users want to add personal touches to their profiles, and if they can neither create nor commission art, they are more than welcome to look for free art across the internet. Plenty exists, and we encourage unique profiles. The biggest downside to providing art for users is that those accounts will still feel stale.
Character creation programs are interesting, but they also often feeling stale since characters, though different, share many of the same features. It's also difficult to make a program that reliably makes good looking characters; many end up looking creepy. My concern is that a good amount of work would go into making something that gets little to no use.
For now, we'll pass on this, but I appreciate the idea!
