Kon, I appreciate what you sent over a while ago. The layout had gone through a good number of changes, and it's at the point where we're pretty comfortable with the way it looks. I believe it's significantly different from when this ticket was submitted, so if there are any glaring issues, please let us know.

Ruck, I understand this is coming extremely late, and I apologize for that. The What's New feeds that are on Furry Network should be different depending on the character you currently have selected. It might not have been that way before, but it definitely is at this point.

I hope that clarifies how this works. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Currently, a number appears next to notifications on the home page.

In addition, the notification button is a light enough color that it acts as a sharp contrast to the darker colors of the website when viewed without color:

I know we've had some issues with notifications appearing for people, and we're going to look closer into that. However, there should be enough visual information currently to show when there are new notifications.

Because these are functionally different sites that do not have any crossover systems, we're going to pass on this idea. If there were a practical reason to do this in the future, though, we could look into what it would take to implement.

Because we haven't had a large demand for this, we're going to currently pass on this idea. If there's more demand in the future, though, we'll go ahead and look into this option.

I appreciate it, Reggie! We do have quite a few things that we're working on, and I'm excited about some of the future changes and features.

Thinking about e621, it's a pretty practical way to deal with the flood there, but it might not be needed for us. I'm just speculating, but e621 has art that's not always uploaded by the creator; it's a rule on FN that people have permission to upload art. If art theft accusations became much larger on FN, we could look into this option, but I think having a round set of rules would be enough to keep the peace for the time being.

Now that most of the layout is finalized, I'm trying to think of how this would work. We currently plan on having a badge for people who are open for commissions; it's possible we could have a badge in a similar fashion unless the open-for-commissions tag is sufficient. For now, it's easiest to add a section to your profile that shows you're a business.

I've been going through and reviewing the tickets. The site currently has real-time notifications. There are a few issues with notifications that we're aware of, and we're working to resolve those.

Reggie, I completely agree with you here. Other websites use it, and it's very helpful - it does open up opportunities for abuse, but we can add language to our rules. I have this on our list of improvements, and I'd want it out before the full site launch if possible. We have some other improvements we're working on now, but once those are finished, I'll check with the dev team to see what would be required to do this.

Thanks for verifying. I'm trying to figure out how to recreate this problem. When I go to a pane for a different story, there's no notification bar at all at the top of the screen. Could you walk me through exactly what you do to have this bug happen?
