If they are folders, why not name them folders?
I think with "collection" Mehlahphuse means a way to display a piece done FOR YOU BY SOMEONE ELSE on your profile, without reposting it, but to adapt the original submission from the artist with his permission. That way you'd have the piece that was done for you on your profile, while the artist's original submission is actually displayed.
Maybe a "claim button" could work better than a collection feature? A simple, little link (like with flag and takedown) to send the artist, who has done and already posted the piece, a request to allow you (for whom the work was done) to display the work on your profile. If the artist confirms, the piece would appear in your gallery or collections gallery. Of course this feature could be abused, if an artist gets spammed with such requests by users who are not involved in the creation of the piece. But maybe it could be combined with the new commissions feature? If artist and Commissioner use the feature and the process is completed the system automatically asks the artist "Offer this commission to the commissioner's gallery?" and if the artist choses yes, the commissioner can opt to display the work on his profile.
Or simply use "Request"?
New Requests
Pending Request Approval
Request Accepted
Request Rejected

I think that would work. Alternatively "Idea" is also easily understandable and applicable.
PS: Would be good to stay with simple terms for site features etc., since the fandom is an international one and not everyone speaks English well enough to understand everything. Also, just as an idea for the long run, the ability to toggle languages on the site would be a great feature. Kind of like it's possible with SoFurry. There sure are a few community members out there that could help!
The collection feature works well for stories, but there are no navigation links for series on the actual submission page to simply move to the next chapter. Currently you'd have to got to the collection or back to the user's gallery first in order to see the next part of a series. A nice spot for those "Previous | Next" links would be the bottom of the page, so that a user can simply click it and go to the next piece in the series after reading the story he currently is at.
For a friends feature it would be cool if it was personalizable, as in add a little message to the request. For example:
User xy has sent you a friend request and says, "Hey, we've known each other for a long time, would be cool to be friends!"
or
User xy has not accepted you friend request and says, "Sorry, but I don't know you at all. If you want to be friends with me, get to know me first."
The delayed publication thing is very interesting!
That's strange, but thanks anyways! :-)
Thank you very much! That helped me a lot.
I see. If a private Twitter works for you, maybe a "Friend" feature on FN would do the trick for you, with an option to make certain pieces only visible to those friends that were accepted by you?
Yes, tooltip box would be good, too. Or the message could just disappear after the user operated the task/feature in question for the first time.

Sounds good, but maybe shorten Furry Network to FN? If you have a lot of tabs open they become smaller and you'd read just "Furry Network" again.
