How about a content rating system like that?:

"General" for content suitable for all ages, without sexual themes and violence.

"Mature" for violence, blood, drugs and artistic nudity (but not sexual content or arousal) etc.

"Adult" for explicit sexual material as in vanilla sex, but NOT including strong fetishes!

"Fetish material" for strong fetishes such as watersports, rape, exesive gore, and so on.

Then you could chose up to which specific rating you'd like to see content and tick it. This could also be color coded, similar to the current "yellow Adult Button" which I find extremely useful and far better than colored borders!

General could be a green G, Mature a yellow M, Adult an orange A and Fetish Material could be a red F or something similar to that. This makes it easy to see on the first glance what rating the material has that you are about to see. What do you think?

Would be nice if you'd not simply name the button for this "toggle NSWF/SFW", but rather "switch to SFW" so you know on the first look that you're currently browsing NSFW and are about to switch to clean and vise versa. Maybe even highlight the button with red and green colors to make things absolutely clear? We don't want any naughty mistakes, right?

One of the best ideas I've seen so far! I'm for the grid view.

This is a very nice idea!

Another suggestion: The guide should be rather detailed, clear, explanatory and not contain too many difficult terms, or should at least explain them with simple words. First there are a lot of international users who don't always understand English all that well (especially combined with business terms and a situation that involves money) that would appreciate a guide that is easily understandable. Second a detailed explanation might ease some fears for users that are new to the site, commissions or still inexperienced in that matter.

That would be a nice feature!

Maybe, if you use the import tool, the system could only generate one thumbnail on the fresh page that states the user has just imported his gallery (Maybe make this kind of thumbnail stand out from the others with a special symbol or something?). When you click on the thumbnail it directs you to the user's gallery where you can view all the imported pieces.

Cutting out tags might work, but a 100 characters limit is too short, I think. That's less than a Tweet! How would one effectively generate interest and give a glimpse of the work with no more than a single sentence? 100 WORDS might work, but for some that could still be too little space.

Yes, PDF support would be a more than interesting feature.

I think that could work. It's at least an easy solution. If a feature like that would be too complex or annoying not many would use it and then there is no point in the feature at all.

Idea 1 and 2 are great! But I have concerns about 3. While the idea is good, it bears the problem that when everyone is doing it FN would become a pretty expensive experience. Not to mention that a lot of furries don't like this method.

I'd say that if an artist's work is 'good' enough that I'd spend money for it to see, I'd definitely use the tip jar to support the artist once with a amount of money I feel comfortable spending, over a "pay me to see my content" feature any time. I think with the tip jar option with the user being in control about the amount he'd like to donate and the early access option with the artist being in control about how much his followers would have to spend to get to see his work earlier everyone could be happy. If an artist decides for the 3rd option, he could just use patreon, in which case a widget for the site would work very well.
