doesn't Weasyl have that section on the main page? I think that in order to be the best, FN needs to implement such a feature as well.

this is something I'd suggest as a forum board for when FN will actually have a normal and full-blown forums section. and while we're at it, why not make it viewable from the main site? you know, for added visibility.

I've noticed a similar phenomenon happening for a few seconds when moving from profile to profile but for a short time only. it would be great, not to mention logical, to have that problem fixed.

I see a trend with such websites that tend to separate the databases of forums and main site for whatever reason, as well as have them each act almost as a standalone website. it happened with FA, continued with Weasyl and now rebounds in FN as well.

however, as it seems on the surface, it is pretty much as intended.

I understand OP's concern but as was already stated this would be a futile attempt. it's like how DRM prevents pirating... NOT.

for a feature like this you might be able to take some inspiration from facebook, which as much as I don't like it has done something that can provide an idea.

facebook, as we all know, has a tagging feature for individual images for the uploader to add redirections to other people's profiles, then the system puts those images on the target profiles' gallery.

I think something similar can be done here - simply add a special kind of tag with someone's profile name and then the system would allow that profile holder to approve or deny that they had a part in the making of the item or even any relation to it other than direct influence. (of course I'm talking about commissioners.)

this should have been categorized as a bug. nevertheless I can say I've experienced a similar problem if not exactly the same - the importer simply did not import my gallery items from furaffinity at all so I had to upload them manually.
