I don't see the point of treating journals as submissions, I never did, not on dA either. But if people like that, sure, why not? However I think if we go that route we also need a checkbox, like on dA, that excludes a journal from that area. I mean, I don't want my TOS, and other generic info to be treated like a submission since that makes no sense.

For an actual network, this is a crucial and fundamental feature, both to allow people to connect and socialize, and also to allow artists to share important information. For example, right now there is no place to put our TOS, and other infos.

This should be given top priority.

Comment sand descriptions squeezed into a tiny area at the screen edge may work for Art Station (Though I dislike it there too) but it does definitely not work for the furry community's needs. For us descriptions and comments are of utmost importance.

I also made a ticket for descriptions under the artwork: http://support.furrynetwork.com/topics/707-/

FN started as an exact copy of Art Station. But the community there have different needs than us. We have YCHs and auctions with large amount of info in the description, we have artworks that have a short story to go with them, and so on. Also, we are much more active in comments in general, and for the already mentioned auctions and YCHs we will need clearly visible and well organized comment section for bidding (unless/until a separate bidding feature is added).

So you say that this:

> consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in

Is easier to use than this:

[quote]

consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in

No. That ticket asks for a toolbar or editor for Markdown and focuses on writers.
I ask for BB Code and/or HTML as optional alternatives, and I state it is needed by everyone, not only writers.

Apparently some people don't read past the title and think I want Markdown removed. I DO NOT!!! I want it as an option alongside BB and/or HTML...

Since I can't edit this ticket, I made another one with different wording, so lazy people will not downvote it for missing my point. http://support.furrynetwork.com/topics/690-

Web writers. How does that qualifies for complex layouts like price sheets, TOSs and other things we possibly need here?

Also, what people whop like Markdown should finally understand that it is NOT easier and prettier for everyone. It is a matter of preference and taste, and as far as I see it is still preferred only by a minority.

But again, I don't care what you format your stuff with as long as I have either HTML or BB Code to use. You can use Markdown, LaTex or smoke signals, it doesn't matter to me but forcing me to use Markdown is bullshit.
