Either this, or rename 'favorite' to 'like' and leave promote as it is, could be a nice solution.

I don't like having Chrome notify me every time something happens; I'd much rather look at the top-right icon every so often and check if it has a number on it. Plus, when the notification expires, I can't fetch it back since it disappeared. However, it certainly could be another feature for other things, or be enabled at will as well.

Great work! I have only one thing to remind: please, please, let the users reply to the shouts themselves and not have them run around and bounce back to other people's pages everytime just to reply, and leave a trail of nonsensical comments!

I would very much like the option to select between filtered and all-time, too. A general switch - or different pages - with each the settings would be an elegant solution imho!
