Answer
We don't have a one-button "Delete Account" function yet (you can vote on it here: https://support.furrynetwork.com/topics/580-how-about-an-option-to-let-people-delete-their-accounts-if-they-change-their-minds/ ) , but there's a workaround:
1) Create a new character with a random name, and switch to it.
2) Delete your old character
3) Change your email address (to a throwaway/disposable one), and click the verification link in the email to save it.
4) Change your password to something random, and don't write it down
5) Log out
That should remove all content from your account, and disassociate it from your email address.
Hope this helps.
Not acceptible. I want my account off this site, and not adding to your user count.
That's completely understandable. You can find a voting thread requesting the ability to delete accounts entirely from the site here: https://support.furrynetwork.com/topics/580-how-about-an-option-to-let-people-delete-their-accounts-if-they-change-their-minds/
I wish to be able to actually delete my account so it does not count towards a user count or anything that can be shown as how many users are registered on your website. Please remove @zerotheliger from the system fully. or i will be discussing such methods with a lawyer to pursue other avenues.
We'd be happy to - your best bet is to vote for that functionality to be added here: https://support.furrynetwork.com/topics/580-how-about-an-option-to-let-people-delete-their-accounts-if-they-change-their-minds/
