Add a confirmation message on the password changing page saying "Your password was changed!" or something to that effect in order to notify the user that it was successful.
I just went to change my password, and nothing happened when I tried to change it. I tried again, and nothing happened again. It looks like it worked the first time, but there was no confirmation clarifying as such, nor was there a notification telling me it didn't work the second time. It's just a minor thing, but it's vital to prevent confusion!
Answer
I'd also very much appreciate if there was some confirmation. It does work but it's rather confusing if there is no confirmation message whatsoever and you have to confirm it yourself by logging out, trying your old password and checking if it says "invalid password".
Same issue as above but with Firefox
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0
Errors in console:

Yeah I just went to change my password today and I opened an Incognito Window to make sure it actually saved. It isn't very clear that it successfully submits.
