Put gifs under artwork
I'm aware that gifs can be uploaded under multimedia, but many people coming from FA are use to gifs and artwork being grouped into one. It would be nice if gifs were able to be uploaded under the artwork category as well.

Agreed. Gifs are just the thing for lineart, and other pieces with a limited palette.
There hasn't been much demand for this change, and we tend to feel that anything animated works best in the multimedia section - that way, people know what to expect and where to search. If there's significant support for a change in the future, though, we can look into this again.
