Text posts should have a separate section, just as artwork, photos, stories, ect...
It would kinda be like a furry twitter feed, It would be interesting because you could see trending topics of conversation.

Either that or have the posts actually written out instead of the posts being hidden in the activity history just as "so-and-so made a post." I would like to be able to read what they said without having to go on their profile every time.
