Tag Bug

Gany 8 years ago updated by Digby (Community Manager) 7 years ago 11 2 duplicates

A few times now (but not every time), I've uploaded a pic, added all my title and description info, only for the upload process to stop whenever I get to the "make public and save" bit.

What happens: I click save, and nothing. It stays in drafts, and I have to refresh and try again. This latest attempt, I had to wait until the next day to get it saved, and I still had problems until I clicked the rightmost side of the save button (doubt that's really what fixed it).

Now, I've been told it *might* be an issue with what tags I'm entering, but I'm kind of surprised that could be a cause for any issues at all.

I encountered a similar issue while trying to use "3d" as a tag, it seems tags need to have a minimum number of characters in order to be valid.

I encountered this as well. Only if you remove the tag it lets you save. It either should work, or shouldn't let you enter the tag.

I have had a similar issue. I believe this occurs when a tag under 3 characters long is added into the list. If this is intended please display an appropriate feedback message.

Thank you.

I am having the Same issue. As soon as click SAVE after entering tags, it just won't save.

Moppie! I had a 2 character Tag, and when I removed it, I was able to save. It's sad, though, because that meant I had to remove my character's Name from the tags so that it would save. I hope that this issue is something that could be looked at.

That's actually a really good point I didn't even think of before. If someone has a two-letter name, it'll make it harder to find them.

I've just been getting this issue too. No tags under 3 characters though, one of the tag suggestions had a space in it, removed that tag and it went through okay.

I actually didn't have any problems with that, surprisingly.

I think when you click submit and nothing happens it's because it has a problem with one of the fields, but it doesn't tell you which field.

I've encountered this issue and have found some success by shortening the title and removing symbols from it (like &)

I know this has been a good amount of time, and the site had undergone some significant changes. I wanted to check and see if people are still having this issue; I haven't experienced it myself. Is this currently appearing for anyone?

Thanks!

I can no longer reproduce my issues

Glad to hear it. I'm going to go ahead and close this issue, but if it's happening to anyone else, please let us know!
