can't log in despite changing password

So..I couldn't log into my account, it was say "Invalid username and password combination"

so i clicked on "forgot your password" and it sent an email to the email its saying is wrong. and if i changed the password and am typing in the new password that can't be wrong either.

This makes absolutely no sense

so the **only** place my password works no matter what is my chromebook and google chrome.

if i use it on firefox, it tells me incorrect email or password.
