I made a comment on the blog post, but didn't save it before moving to a different page. Is there way I could recover that post, or ask that it be copy-pasted to me somewhere?

Also, since the appropriate thread designated for points to ban or unban things are locked, is there any place that IS deemed appropriate for people to be able to discuss or express their feelings on the still-recent decision? It seems like locking discussion on what was a relatively hastily made decision given the significance of the issue at hand (censorship on an art site, endorsing condemnation of people on 'moral' grounds over what they draw, inviting people who won't be happy without asking you to expel others rather than allowing them to walk away, etc) would serve more to just hope people accept it and move on, when there's still factors that clearly have not been fully appreciated here. A bad decision is best retracted while fresh, rather than allowed to settle and clearly, it WILL be an ongoing issue as you have opened the door (literally, making a designated place inviting people to ask to ban more stuff) to further argument and upset as it is inevitable that more content will be condemned for the same reasons, and with no defense other than the one already deemed insufficient here, it will be a drawn-out series of upsets to artists who may not have been affected by this ban, but will be affected by the future bans that are inevitable without taking a hypocritical position towards other forms of objectionable content.

I'm not trying to ignore that other threads on the subject have been closed, but lacking an appropriate place to speak while it is still relevant, I hope this is a civil enough post to not warrant consequence. Close the thread if you must, but I hope the questions have answers.

I'm almost certain that we can't recover your blog post - that would be on your computer, and regrettably if you didn't submit it, we don't save a copy.

The forums really are not meant to be a hosting ground for 'which of these two options are better' and that was explained in the post made by Varka, here. A statement on [ban/unban content type thread] will be coming soon.

Additionally, I'm sorry that you do not feel that we made the right decision regarding cub porn, however I'm firmly of the belief that we aren't going to re-open this subject.

Sorry, I explained poorly. I did submit the comment to the blog post, assuming that I would be taken to a page where my comment and others' would be visible, but I wasn't able to see any comments to the post, not even my own.

Firm beliefs can change. When I spoke to Narse at BLFC before the beta launch, he seemed to believe pretty firmly that they'd deliberated sufficiently on the subject and the decision to simply not step into morality arguments or censorship was the correct route. I will continue to hold out hope that the desire to not be inconsistent and hypocritical in principles will come back to them and outweigh the decision to cave to censorship and hatemongering out of fear. When you invite people to your community even when they demand you exclude others, they have every reason to believe you're okay with people demanding the exclusion of others, and aren't likely to be full happy with just this exclusion.
