I Came button
Add an I came button to mature submissions to tell the artist "I came to this!"
Answer
That's a wee bit coarse. I think promotes and favorites already do a good job to let and artist know you appreciate his work.
Absolute not. I mean some people draw nudes of their fursona and stuff that aren't meant to sexual. That would be mighty freakin' creepy if someone came to it. Even if it was an option that could be toggled on and off it kinda just enforces the idea that furries are fetishists instead of a geekdom not much different from western otaku. If you need to inform someone you were sexually gratified by their art I'm sure you can add that as a comment :)
I would upvote this only if this was an option for the submission uploader to enable if they wanted it and would be off by default for new users, because I know there are actually artists who like this kind... feedback.
As an artist drawing both clean and porn, when I have a good fav/view ratio I know it worked.
I think it's safe to say that this one probably isn't going to make it onto the site. :P Time to put this one out of its misery.
Wow, this got a lot of downvotes for a joke suggestion. You guys are really enthusiastic on not having an "I came" button, huh?
That is rather funny as a joke suggestion. And also impressive the fast and amazing response.
Heck, if you want to go all the way, each time the 'I Came' button is pushed, perhaps have an overlay of a splatter on the artwork as well. Just to finish off the joke. Then the best/most popular artworks wouldn't even be able to be seen!
Anyway, thank you for the laugh. It was appreciated.
To the one who posted this I applaud you. You may be "feeling bad" because it got negatives, and that it was posted as a joke, but I think it needed to be seen that a post can be declined and what an example of that looks like!
If the suggestion was a joke, don't feel bad that the suggestion was shot down. In fact it probably would have felt worse if your joke suggestion got approved when you didn't actually want it in the first place, no?
