Option for True Blocking of Blacklisted Content

Karo_Zagorus 8 years ago updated by Rooster 8 years ago 3

It should be made an option for users to let them choose in what way they want to see blocked content on the website, similar to the Inkbunny method where blacklisted tags are given the option to display a blocked icon or let the user completely remove the submission from even appearing in his feed.

I think this would be a very helpful tool for users.

I dunno about anyone else, but some prolific artists I follow and enjoy do produce content I personally find objectionable. Nothing against them for doing it, it's just not my thing. I've already used the systems in place to block the content I don't want to see, so why do I have to know someone's uploaded something I don't like?

I think it would be fair to have an option setting for users to either completely disregard blacklisted items in their feed, or continue to keep the blacklisted items in their feed but remove them manually. That way if someone reaaaallly wants to take a peak at their own will they still have the option to?
